About Me Page

I am a technology professional focused on designing, delivering, and improving data- and software-driven systems. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across multiple environments—from early-stage development efforts to large-scale enterprise deployments—ensuring that solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.

I enjoy collaborating with teams to solve complex challenges, improve technical clarity, and drive systems that support long-term organizational success. I believe in thoughtful architecture, pragmatic problem-solving, and building software that serves people first

What I’m Focused On

  • Scalable data and application architecture

  • Clean data modeling and schema design

  • Workflow automation and process optimization

  • Clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Outside of Work

I’m passionate about community knowledge-sharing — writing, speaking, and helping others grow their understanding of systems that matter. When not working, I enjoy learning, building tools, and connecting with others in the tech community.

Writing was my first steps toward sharing my work and really taking the time to explore topics at deeper levels. I've slowed down on this a lot in favor of opportunities that offer more back and fourth dialogue, but it is something I found deeply enjoyable and would always be up for another round if I found a single topic I could talk about long enough to fill a book.

Public speaking is always fun. I really do enjoy what I do so I always appreciate being able to speak to community of tech users. Being able to not just share my knowledge, but also bounce ideas back and fourth is a great way to spend any day.

Recreational programming is naturally always a past time. I have a codebase that I've been working with on and off for over a decade now. I also love playing with arduinos and esp boards. Being able to take your code off the screen can open your work to a whole new type of perspective.

Beyond the Technical

Programming is a major part of my life, but outside of that, I love reading. I try to alternate between fiction and non-fiction books.

  • Favorite Fiction Series: There are way too many... The Dresden Files, Eric Carter book series, Alex Verus, Iron Druid... Anything that's building a complex universe is typically my favorite.
  • Favorite Non-Fiction: The Fearless Organization

I enjoy wood working. It's nice having a project with a clear cut finish point!

My favorite color is Green.

My favorite past time is watching the Detroit Tigers.

So many things can be great if you give them a chance to be!
